Curriculum

Saturation will equip you with a practical understanding of modern day missions. We do not believe in a theory only approach, therefore most subjects taught in the classroom will be followed up with practical application. This allows you to gain real life experience and gives you an opportunity to demonstrate the skills which you have been taught.

The 4 month course is broken down as follows:

  • 3 Months of classroom based training, including many practicals.
  • A 2-3 Week International Mission to a developing Country
  • A 1 week team de-brief and exit interview for each student
  • A formal graduation ceremony

At the start of each course the students are taken away for orientation. This is an awesome time where friendships are forged and team is built. Saturation's flexible approach means that each course is tailored to the individual needs and group dynamics of the students.  Saturation is broken down into 6 modules, each of which provide the necessary theory which is then followed up by practical application and assessment.

Module 1 - Introduction to Missions
Module 2 - Primary Healthcare
Module 3 - Spriritual Preparation for Missions
Module 4 - Outdoor Survival Skills
Module 5 - Cross Cultural Communication
Module 6 - Practical Missions Preparation

The students are also required to read a number a books and will submit written assignments on these.
